Modian

Modian is an offline English dictionary with around 700,000 entries, paired with an Ebbinghaus-based review system. It keeps the core experience focused: no ads, lock-screen vocabulary practice, configurable study plans, and local lookup.

The product combines image-based word extraction, custom notes, PDF vocabulary-book exports, configurable dictionary fields, reading and text-to-speech tools, calendar reminders, and custom import and filtering workflows. I built it as a long-running independent product and kept a direct feedback loop with users through App Store reviews and email.
