On the Laozhanggou trip, one truck sat stuck in a riverbed for three hours.
Winch, sand ladders, bare hands — in the end we packed rocks under the wheels, one by one. Had to be out before dark.
Off-road didn’t teach me some “it’s just like shipping a product” lesson — it taught me that dark is a deadline that doesn’t negotiate.
Organized or joined. Mostly around Beijing, some long hauls out west.

Leading 20-odd people across four technical tracks. First time running that many directions at once.
Wrote it from an empty repo to the App Store, alone — then took over the whole client.
First time writing code inside a large-scale social product. A completely different engineering world.
At the 2018 Ritz-Carlton launch, the mobile product was mine to build — and mine to present.
First job, and the entire iOS client was just me. I also demoed on stage at the 2017 whitepaper launch.
Both were mobile product demos — from building the product to wrangling the AV on the day.
